In the WE9 release, profiles have changed significantly, not just in their basic appearance, but also in more subtle ways. These updates are all ultimately intended to improve navigation and increase customization, but you will want to have a decent understanding of exactly where they are and what they mean for your work.

Person Profile -> Summary
The Summary page is the entry section of the profile. It provides basic demographic and contact information, as well as key wealth and giving scores, just as the Person Profile page in our previous platform did.
Please note that the P2G is no longer a part of the Summary and instead remains frozen at the top of the profile, regardless of what section you are in.
In WE9, you will see some brand-new fields, such as Biography, Real Estate Summary, and Career Summary! There are a couple others that merit additional explanation:
The new Assets section breaks down the total number into real estate, business ownership, public stock, and a catchall “other.” talking to each other.
It is important to note that this section is calculated differently than the “Total Assets” range, which appears as a colored bar elsewhere:
The Assets section is based directly upon the details in this profile (e.g. specific, visible real estate records under their name), while the “Total Assets” range is based upon a model. Those fields do not communicate.
We have also added a breakdown of charitable giving by category. Keep in mind Charitable Donations data will always be Medium Quality of Match (QOM). This means that they may or may not apply to your person; we don’t have enough information to be sure.

The Research Details section of the profile is where you can dig deeper into the data and view the actual records themselves. There are a few significant updates we have made to this area.

Previously, Research Details simply listed each of the data sources the profile had tied to it (e.g. Wealth ID Securities or Dun & Bradstreet), which could be confusing if you didn’t already know what type of information that source provided. Now, they have been broken down into easy-to-understand categories.
Because there can be so many categories, fields, and records that make up a profile, it can be a massive pain to have to scroll through all of it to find your main subject of interest. To make this a little easier, we have made more of the fields collapsible and given you the ability to either collapse or expand all of them at once. You aren’t losing any of that information; it’s just quicker for you to navigate.
You also have the new ability to apply a filter to Research Details in order to specifically see the data that is: no longer current; you have marked as being verified; and/or was added by you, either individually or using the Find More feature.
Validating and Deleting
Pre-WE9, you had some ability to validate and delete data on the profile if you knew something that we didn’t, but that functionality was limited. Only certain types of data could be altered (e.g. you could delete real estate records, but not political donations). Now you have the ability to easily make these changes to any records! Each data point in Research Details should be accompanied by both a check box for validation and a trash can icon for deletion. Don’t worry – any changes you make you can undo later.

The Connections section of the Profile gives you a list of the people with profiles that the system sees have a connection with your potential customer. Usually this relationship is a close family tie or through a corporate or non-profit board. You are able to easily view some key scores and basic information about the source of the link so that you can gauge who is a closer connection or a stronger contact for your person. The only major change is an addition: now if someone is listed because of a company connection, it will also highlight their position at said company.

This section of the profile is more prominent now, with a tab of its very own, rather than being under Research Details. Otherwise, there are no changes.
This is where we see some big, exciting changes!
Even as you move between the different sections of the profile (Summary, Research Details, Connections, and Notes), this top section will remain frozen. Pay attention to these fields; they’re important enough that you’ll always want them easily accessible.
The "Wealth Signal"
In the upper right-hand corner of the profile you will find a "Wealth Signal" visualization. This collects together some of the most important scores in the profile so that you are able to quickly evaluate whether this person is worth a deeper look.
With WE9, we have created a brand-new, foundational score! The Wealth Score provides a comprehensive rating of a person’s overall financial health, taking into account all forms of modeled assets and liabilities. Utilizing predictive analytics and modeling, it combines the strengths of our other key scores to help you differentiate and prioritize profiles with a greater level of granularity than ever before.
Each profile is assigned a number between 1 and 100; the higher the number, the better.

P2G Stays Frozen
The P2G is our flagship score for our non-profit clients, but you can still use it as a valuable tool for segmentation, as well as a safety net designed to catch those wealthy people who've done a good job of hiding their assets. You can toggle back and forth between the WealthScore and the P2G to determine which will appear at the center of the Wealth Signal - but now, no matter what, it will be easily accessible.

The Badges are essentially labels that can act as quick indicators of certain qualities. Here you can mark a profile as validated, favorited, or deceased. You can also click to add them to your Inner Circle list.
- Note: Some badges are provided entirely by WealthEngine and you won’t be able to edit them.
Tags, on the other hand, are more customized labels. If you created a tag in My Profiles, this is where you can now attach it to your person. It not only acts as an individual signifier for reading that profile, but it also allows you to go to Filters and pull a list of all the people in your file who have that tag.
Whether you are labelling profiles as “Top Customers;” “Loyalty Rewards Members;” “Direct Mail Campaign Targets;” or even “Conference Attendees,” there are many ways you can take advantage of this tool.

Sometimes you want to go outside the profiles to do some additional online research. Now, rather than having to open up a new tab, navigate to LinkedIn, and then type in this individual’s name, you can simply click on the (picture) icon.
Open searches in Google, facebook, LinkedIn, twitter, and Zillow – all from within our profiles!
- Note: When you click on the icon, it is pulling you to another website. Any information you find there isn’t provided by WealthEngine.
This is a big change. Before the WE9 release, profiles included some information that WealthEngine thought might apply to your person – but we didn’t have enough information to be sure. This was marked as being Medium Quality of Match (QOM) data and therefore didn’t impact scores, though you could use it for additional insight if you verified it on your end.
Now, when you open up a profile, the only Medium QOM data that you might see is charitable donations, FEC Contributions, or SSDI Death Index information. Everything else is High QOM, meaning we have the full name and address in common that we need to be confident in its accuracy. However, you can use the Find More feature to pull Medium QOM data into the profile! So, you certainly can choose to take advantage of this information if you want, but you don’t have to see it if you don’t.

This has the same functionalities as the old Tools option. They are simply faster and more intuitive.
