When uploading files to Express Screening in Excel (.xlsx), or CSV (.csv) etc formats, it's important to follow strict formatting guidelines to ensure successful processing.
A. Template & Header Requirements
- Always use the official screening template attached here (Detailed & Basic).
- Do not modify or remove column headers—even if some fields are not used.
- If data is unavailable for a specific field, leave the cell blank, but do not delete the column.
B. Common Issues to Avoid
- Extra/missing columns or renamed headers.
- Special characters or line breaks in cells.
- Files not saved in UTF-8 encoding (especially for CSV).
- Merged cells, formulas, or formatting artifacts from Excel.
- Incorrect delimiters (e.g., using commas in TSV).
- Blank rows or trailing spaces in cells.
- Files exceeding records or credits limit.
C. Best Practices
- Save as CSV UTF-8 if using Excel.
- Keep the original structure of the template intact.
- Avoid hidden formatting by pasting plain values only.
