When uploading files to Express Screening in Excel (.xlsx), or CSV (.csv) etc formats, it's important to follow strict formatting guidelines to ensure successful processing.

A. Template & Header Requirements

  1. Always use the official screening template attached here (Detailed & Basic).
  2. Do not modify or remove column headers—even if some fields are not used.
  3. If data is unavailable for a specific field, leave the cell blank, but do not delete the column.

B. Common Issues to Avoid

  • Extra/missing columns or renamed headers.
  • Special characters or line breaks in cells.
  • Files not saved in UTF-8 encoding (especially for CSV).
  • Merged cells, formulas, or formatting artifacts from Excel.
  • Incorrect delimiters (e.g., using commas in TSV).
  • Blank rows or trailing spaces in cells.
  • Files exceeding records or credits limit.

CBest Practices

  • Save as CSV UTF-8 if using Excel.
  • Keep the original structure of the template intact.
  • Avoid hidden formatting by pasting plain values only.
