As the administrator for WealthEngine and Salesforce you will be able to control the user and license count for your account. The articles below will provide you with steps to add new users, as well as best practices to ensure that the integration is set up successfully.
We also have some integration setup reminders for you below.
- Your WealthEngine username must match the Salesforce email address, including case sensitivity.
- All users who wish to use the integration must be added as a user in WealthEngine (unless you have purchased lite user licenses).
- The Salesforce admin must also be a WealthEngine admin.
- The integration connection can be managed or refreshed by:
- Login to the WealthEngine platform
- Click your name in the top right corner, select Account from the dropdown
- Select Integrations on the left panel
- Once the integration has been set up in Salesforce, please ensure your integration users have been assigned a license and permission sets with the below steps.
- To check license assignment:
SF admin can go to Setup > Installed Packages > locate WE Insights for Salesforce on the list of installed packages > click Manage Licenses and make sure all your integration users are assigned a license. - To check permission set assignment:
Integration users should have these 2 permission sets assigned: WealthEngine Permissions and WE Connector Salesforce License.SF Admin can go to Setup > Permission Sets > select the above mentioned permission sets, and use the Manage Assignments button to review which users currently have been assigned.
To add users missing the permission set, select the Add Assignment button.
